Гюнтер Эттингер, еврокомиссар по бюджету, сообщил, что из-за выхода Великобритании из Европейского союза бюджет будет недополучать 20 млрд ежегодно.


Еврокомиссар заявил, что Великобритания вкладывала в бюджет больше, чем получала. Поэтому Эттингер считает, что Евросоюзу необходимы дополнительные налоги, иначе дефицит бюджета будет достигать $10-11 млрд в год. Поскольку ЕС запланировал новые проекты по обороне и безопасности, эта сумма может вырасти вдвое.


Ранее 29 марта 2017 г. Великобритания официально запустила процесс выхода из ЕС, страна должна будет покинуть объединение ровно через 2 года.
