Министерство энергетики Саудовской Аравии заявило, что королевство планирует нарастить экспорт нефти до 10,6 миллиона баррелей, начиная с мая. Суточное увеличение экспорта составит примерно 600 тыс. баррелей. 


Эр-Рияд пояснил, что подобный рост экспорта будет возможен в результате частичного замещения внутреннего потребления нефти природным газом, добываемым на месторождении Аль-Фадхли. Более того, в стране наблюдается общее снижение внутреннего спроса на нефтепродукты из-за сокращения транспортных перевозок вследствие мер, принятых для борьбы с распространением коронавируса.


Саудиты также намерены нарастить добычу нефти с 1 апреля и довести ее до 12,3 млн баррелей в стуки.
