Americký startup OpenAI, který stojí za službou ChatGPT, plánuje zřídit kancelář v Jižní Koreji kvůli rostoucí poptávce po svých službách v tomto regionu.

Nová kancelář OpenAI, která je již třetí v Asii, by měla být otevřena v Soulu v nadcházejících měsících, a to po otevření kanceláří v Japonsku a Singapuru. Bude to znamenat „významný krok vpřed v prohlubování místní angažovanosti a budování silnějších partnerství“ v celém regionu, uvedla v pondělním prohlášení společnost AI se sídlem v SanFranciscu.

Jižní Korea má největší počet platících předplatitelů ChatGPT mimo USA, uvedla společnost OpenAI. Společnost rozšířila obchodní partnerství s místními firmami, včetně společnosti Kakao, která provozuje nejoblíbenější službu pro zasílání zpráv v Jižní Koreji.
