Musk and Cuban again help Dogecoin

American billionaire and the owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, Mark Cuban, decided to help Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, in his efforts to send Dogecoin to the moon.


Cuban boosted cryptocurrency growth last Friday by promising special discounts during the summer sale of club merch for those paying with Dogecoin. Moreover, the billionaire named Dogecoin as the strongest cryptocurrency in terms of medium of exchange.


Elon Musk also joined the "discussion" of the altcoin, writing on his Twitter account: «I've been saying this for a while now.»


As a result, over the past day, the coin has risen in price by 16.8%, and over the week – by more than 45%.


It is worth noting that the Dallas Mavericks are not the only team in the sports world who have shown an interest in cryptocurrency. In the new season, the logo of the coin will appear on the uniform of the Premier League football club Watford.
