Центробанк РФ заявил о росте сбыта фальшивок через банкоматы

Заместитель председателя ЦБ РФ Георгий Лунтовский в своем выступлении на конференции "Актуальные вопросы развития наличного денежного обращения" отметил рост объемов сбыта фальшивых купюр через банкнотно-приемные устройства. Основную причину роста мошенничества зампред видит в использовании банками дешевых банкоматов, способных проверить купюру только по одному-двум признакам защиты.

Центробанк требует от кредитных учреждений осуществлять проверку купюр по минимум четырем машиночитаемым признакам. Также Лунтовский отметил, что не все банки соблюдают установленные требования при организации обращения наличных денег. Регулятор в будущем планирует ввести экономические наказания для учреждений, не выполняющих общие правила работы банкоматов.
