Рост цен производителей в США оказался максимальным почти за 2 года

Согласно данным Министерства труда США, цены производителей в стране (индекс PPI) в июле 2020 года выросли на 0,6% по сравнению с предыдущим месяцем. Это стало максимальными темпами роста с октября 2018 года. Аналитики в среднем ожидали повышения на 0,3%.

Подобный скачок цен объясняется главным образом ростом стоимости энергоносителей на фоне ослабления ограничений, введенных в связи с пандемией коронавируса.

Относительно июля 2019 года индекс PPI опустился на 0,4%. Эксперты прогнозировали снижение на 0,7%.
