Россия не согласилась с предложением ОПЕК о дальнейшем сокращении добычи нефти из-за эпидемии коронавируса. Неделю назад Организация стран-экспортеров нефти понизила прогноз мирового спроса на нефть в I квартале на 440 тыс. баррелей в день (почти на треть). В целом в 2020 году ожидается сокращение среднесуточного потребления на 230 тысяч баррелей.


Технический комитет ОПЕК+ рекомендовал странам-участницам снизить добычу нефти еще на 600 тыс. баррелей в сутки, чтобы сгладить последствия вспышки китайского коронавируса. Россия отвергла подобную перспективу, объяснив это несоответствием российским интересам. Более того, Москва выступила за продление сделки лишь до конца второго квартала 2020 года, причем на текущих условиях.


Российские представители отмечают, что нефтяные компании РФ не очень много выиграют от роста котировок нефти при сокращении добычи, поскольку большая часть дополнительных доходов все равно будет уходить в бюджет в виде налогов.
