Торговые переговоры между США и Китаем продолжают доминировать в новостном пространстве. По словам чиновников, знакомых с ходом переговоров, стороны по-прежнему довольно близки к достижению первого этапа соглашения.

Ранее Китай заявил, что для того, чтобы соглашение стало возможным, Соединенные Штаты должны отказаться от введенных ранее тарифов, в ответ власти Китая пообещали сделать аналогичные шаги. 

Власти США считают, что отменять пошлины преждевременно, пока Китай не согласится провести какую-либо существенную реформу. Американская сторона недовольна тем, как Китай относится к интеллектуальной собственности. 

Кроме того, власти КНР возмущены тем, что США пытаются поставить торговую сделку в зависимость от решения внешнеполитических вопросов.

В качестве крайней меры Китай может обнародовать список американских компаний, которым запретят вести бизнес в стране, однако пока надежда на успех остается, китайская стороны вряд ли пойдет на это.
