The US Federal Reserve has left its key interest rate unchanged, keeping it in the range of 4.25-4.5% per annum. This step was fully in line with the experts' expectations. The Open Market Operations Committee remains focused on achieving maximum employment and maintaining inflation at 2%. At the same time, it is noted that uncertainty about the future development of the economy has increased. In a published statement, the regulator stressed that when determining the volume and timing of possible changes in the key federal funds rate, it will carefully analyze new economic information, revise forecasts and take into account the balance of various risks.
