Президент США Дональд Трамп запустил процедуру введения дополнительных пошлин (10%) на китайские товары общей стоимостью $200 млрд. Мировая общественность опасается, что эти меры станут еще одним шагом на пути развития торгового конфликта с Пекином.


В первую очередь администрация Белого дома согласует список товаров, которые будут облагаться новыми пошлинами. Процесс согласования может продлиться 1,5 месяца. Ранее Дональд Трамп угрожал ввести пошлины на весь спектр товаров из КНР, если Пекин не пойдет на уступки и не откажется от введения ответных пошлин на импорт американских товаров. Как известно, на прошлой неделе США ввели 25%-ные пошлины на китайский импорт на общую сумму $34 млрд, после чего Китай ввел «зеркальные» пошлины в отношении товаров из США.


Переговоры по поводу разрешения конфликта и смягчения напряженности в торговых отношениях между двумя странами не ведутся.
