The authorities of the Canadian province of Alberta offered to supply the United States and the whole world with their oil instead of Russia. Today, Canada is the country with the third largest reserves of raw materials in the world.

Today it became known that the Minister of Energy of the Canadian province of Alberta, Sonya Savage, and the Prime Minister of the region, Jason Kenny, offered to supply their oil to the United States against the background of a possible suspension of exports of raw materials from Russia.

It is worth noting that earlier the United States and Venezuela have already discussed the possibility of easing oil sanctions against Caracas, since America considers Venezuela as a possible alternative source of oil supplies in case sanctions are imposed against the Russian energy sector.

Kenny said on his Twitter account: «Alberta would be happy if US President Joe Biden paid us a visit. We could discuss the delivery of approximately 1 million barrels per day of responsibly produced energy resources from the closest friend and ally of the United States.»

The Prime Minister also stressed that for this it is necessary to lift the blocking of the Keystone XL pipeline on the border of Canada and the United States.
