Společnost InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), vlastník hotelu Holiday Inn, ve čtvrtek uvedla, že je na dobré cestě splnit celoroční konsensuální odhad zisku, čímž se vzepřela varování kolegů z oboru před zhoršující se ekonomickou a spotřebitelskou náladou v USA.
Spojené státy, největší trh IHG, čelí zvýšenému riziku recese v důsledku globální obchodní války vyvolané cly prezidenta Donalda Trumpa, která přiměla cestovní kanceláře k opatrnosti ohledně stagnující poptávky.
Analytici očekávají, že IHG vykáže za fiskální rok 2025 upravený zisk před úroky, odpisy a amortizací (EBITDA) ve výši 1,32 miliardy liber (1,75 miliardy USD).
Skupina rovněž oznámila, že v prvním čtvrtletí zaznamenala 3,3% skok v celosvětových tržbách za dostupný pokoj (RevPAR), což představuje nárůst o 2,6 % oproti loňskému roku.
