The U.S. economy grew by 3.3% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2025, according to revised data from the Ministry of Commerce. Earlier, it was reported an increase of 3%, while the consensus forecast of analysts suggested an increase in estimates to only 3.1%.Consumer spending, which accounts for two thirds of GDP, became the main driver: its growth was 1.6% instead of the previously estimated 1.4%.
