Bitcoin soared above $103,000

On Friday, bitcoin steadily strengthened, continuing its recent rapid growth and overcoming important levels. This growth was driven by Donald Trump's announcement of a trade agreement with the UK and his optimism about reducing tariff barriers in relations with China.

On Thursday, bitcoin overcame the important psychological barrier of $100,000, showing its readiness for significant gains over the week. The cryptocurrency was steadily moving towards its third consecutive week of growth, continuing the rally that started at the end of April. 

At the time of publication, bitcoin reached $103,768, peaking at a three-month high of $103,885. The rest of the digital assets followed this rise. The second largest cryptocurrency by capitalization, Ethereum, showed an impressive growth of 16.5%, stopping at $2,209.41.
