После референдума по Brexit британцы меняют гражданство на немецкое

После референдума по выходу Великобритании из состава Евросоюза рекордное для последних лет количество британцев подало запросы на предоставление немецкого гражданства. Массовая подача заявок на получение гражданства Германии обусловлено, в основном, попытками избежать потери права на безвизовое перемещение внутри Еврозоны после Brexit. 
 
Статистическое бюро ФРГ сообщило о рекордно высоком показателе запросов на смену гражданства за первое полугодие текущего года. В 2015 году число британцев, получивших немецкое гражданство, составило 600, а в 2016 уже 2865 жителей Великобритании стали гражданами Германии.  
 
Всего за 2016 год гражданство Германии получили 110,4 тысяч человек. Большинство заявителей имели ранее гражданство Турции.
