Сегодняшний день начался с позитивных новостей из Европы. Потребительские настроение в Великобритании оказалась несколько хуже прогноза, но розничные продажи были значительно лучше. Более того, отчеты PMI Еврозоны показали экономический рост в регионе.

В Соединенных Штатах всё не так оптимистично. Страна все еще борется с пандемией, вчера было выявлено еще 70 000 новых заболевших. Также произошло незапланированное увеличение числа первичных заявок на пособие по безработице. Несколько штатов все еще находятся в изоляции, вместе с тем члены правительства пока не могут договориться о новых планах стимулирования.

Кроме того, Соединенные Штаты закрыли китайское консульство в Хьюстоне, Китай ответил тем же, закрыв консульство США в Чэнду. Эти враждебные выпады вызывают беспокойство инвесторов. При этом Президент Трамп намекнул, что может вернуться к первому этапу торгового соглашения, подписанному в начале 2020 года.
