Южноамериканская страна близка к тому, чтобы обогнать Испанию и стать третьим наиболее пострадавшим регионом в мире. Кроме того, Иран и Мексика также остаются странами с большим числом новых пациентов, больных Covid-19.

Тем временем в Соединенном Королевстве продолжается обсуждение отрицательных процентных ставок. Сегодня состоится пресс-конференция главы Банка Англии Эндрю Бейли, на которой он, как ожидается, расскажет о планах Центрального банка. Инвесторы ожидают анонсирования дальнейшего смягчения политики регулятора, при том, что ставки для казначейских облигаций Великобритании уже стали отрицательными, поскольку страна готовится к рецессии.

Нефтяной рынок продолжает демонстрировать признаки восстановления. Цены стабилизируются в ожидании того, что добыча в Соединенных Штатах упадет, сегодня инвесторы будут следить за публикацией еженедельного отчета о запасах нефти в США. Цена на нефть марки WTI достигла $32,38, в то время как нефть марки Brent торгуется в районе $35,38 за баррель.
