Международная ассоциация воздушного транспорта (IATA) ожидает падение общей выручки авиакомпаний по всему миру на 55% по сравнению с прошлым годом.

На фоне продолжающейся эпидемии коронавируса IATA вновь понизила прогноз выручки мировых авиакомпаний на 2020 год. В начале прошлого месяца прогноз предполагал снижение показателя максимум до $113 млрд, в конце – на $252 млрд (44%), сейчас – уже на $314 млрд.

Данные цифры отражают значительное углубление кризиса. Эксперты международной ассоциации ожидают снижения спрос на пассажирские перевозки в 2020 году на 48% по сравнению с предыдущим.

Замедления роста ВВП, а также ограничительные меры окажут дополнительное негативное влияние на авиакомпании, вплоть до их массового разорения, если правительства не окажут помощи отрасли.

Среди вариантов оказания помощи ассоциация выделяет прямую финансовую поддержку, кредиты, кредитные гарантии и налоговые льготы, а также поддержку рынка корпоративных облигаций.

IATA объединяет 290 авиакомпаний, осуществляющих более 80% авиаперевозок по всему миру.
