Консервативная партия победила на досрочных выборах в парламент Великобритании. По предварительным данным, партия премьер-министра Бориса Джонсона получила абсолютное большинство мест в парламенте – 368 из 650.

Это означает, что в ближайшее время Великобритания выйдет из состава Евросоюза, поскольку Джонсон намерен довести Brexit до конца любыми средствами.

Последние 30 лет консерваторы ни разу не получали такой значительной поддержки избирателей. Британцы сделали исторический выбор, подтвердив законность референдума по Brexit.

По словам Бориса Джонсона, страна выйдет из состава Евросоюза не позднее 31 января 2020 года.

После оглашения результатов голосования, курс фунта стерлингов к доллару США показал рекордный рост, достигнув максимума за 19 месяцев на отметке 1,3516.
