Китайские компании в этом году закупили у США 700 тыс. т свинины и 700 тыс. т сорго, заявил во вторник представитель внешнеполитического ведомства КНР Генг Шуан.

Китай, мировой лидер по импорту сельскохозяйственной продукции, также закупил у США 320 тыс. т хлопка, 230 тыс. т пшеницы и 20 млн т сои.

Комментарии появились на фоне повышенного внимания к покупкам Китаем американских фермерских товаров, что является одним из ключевых требований президента Дональда Трампа по урегулированию торговой войны между странами.

В пятницу Трамп заявил, что Китай договорился о закупке у США сельхозтоваров на сумму от 40 до 50 млрд долларов в рамках первого этапа соглашения о прекращении торговой войны.

Китайские импортеры накануне торговых переговоров сделали рекордно-крупную недельную закупку американской свинины.

Импорт свинины в Китай за первые девять месяцев года составил 1,33 млн т, что на 43,6% больше, чем за аналогичный период годом ранее.
