Эксперты Международного валютного фонда (МВФ) рассчитали, что выход Великобритании из состава Евросоюза без заключения соглашения принесет больше расходов для британской экономики, чем для стран ЕС.

Согласно их оценке, при любом сценарии Brexit экономика Соединенного Королевства понесет существенные потери из-за утраты доступа к единому европейскому рынку. Однако соглашение, которое поможет минимизировать последствия введения пошлин, способно защитить экономический рост и доходы граждан Великобритании и ЕС.

Аналитики МВФ считают, что новые торговые соглашения со временем помогут компенсировать потери британской стороны, при этом вряд ли принесут выгоду в объеме, равном расходам на Brexit.

Текущий оптимистичный прогноз МВФ на 2019 год предполагает увеличение темпов роста ВВП Великобритании в среднем 1,5% при условии достижения сторонами взаимовыгодного соглашения до конца 2018 года.
