Zvolený brazilský prezident Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva začne tento týden pohovory s kandidáty na vedení ropné společnosti Petrobras, uvedli lidé obeznámení s rozhovory, čímž pro státem kontrolovanou společnost začíná období, které může být pro ni velmi náročné.
Lula, který se ujme úřadu 1. ledna, již naznačil plány na dramatickou reorganizaci společnosti Petroleo Brasileiro SA, jak se společnost oficiálně jmenuje.
Podle Luly a jeho poradců je na pořadu dne privatizace společnosti. Plán připravovaný od roku 2019 byl podle některých jeho tvůrců připraven k realizaci v příštím roce, pokud by byl Jair Bolsonaro znovu zvolen.
Vzhledem k rozsahu svých ambicí nemá Lula mnoho času nazbyt. Technicky však může trvat dva až čtyři měsíce, než bude moci kvůli novým předpisům dosadit nové vedení.
