Товары в зарубежных интернет-магазинах могут подорожать на 18% из-за введения налога на добавленную стоимость.

В марте 2017 года Федеральная антимонопольная служба начала подготовку законопроекта об НДС для товаров, покупаемых у иностранных ритейлеров. Дополнительный налог может привести к росту цен на 18%. Авторы законопроекта рассчитывают с его помощью привлекать в бюджет около ₽100 млрд в год.

Закон обсуждался на заседании Федеральной антимонопольной службы по созданию равных конкурентных условий для российских и зарубежных интернет-магазинов. Иностранные компании должны будут регистрироваться в Федеральной налоговой службе и перечислять 18% с каждой покупки. Если покупатели приобретают товар в незарегистрированном интернет-магазине, то будут сами оплачивать НДС при получении. Министерство финансов планирует ввести налог в 2018-2019 гг.
