В России изобрели уникальный сорбент нефти

Специалисты Сибирского государственного университета науки и технологий им. Решетнева (СибГУ) изобрели уникальный по своим свойствам биосорбент, способный быстро и качественно ликвидировать нефтяные загрязнения почвы, возникающие в результате аварий на нефтепроводе или автотранспортных предприятиях. Новый продукт эффективнее предшествующих аналогов в 7-10 раз: 1 кубометр сорбента способен поглотить 1 тонну нефти. 
 
В уникальный состав сорбента входят микроорганизмы, выделенные из загрязненной нефтью почвы. Эти микроорганизмы обладают способностью разлагать нефть до простых нетоксичных соединений. В результате, всего за один теплый сезон все пагубные нефтепродукты разлагаются на воду и углекислый газ, а почва в поврежденных местах восстанавливается естественным путем. Без применения сорбента загрязнения почвы могут устраняться десятилетиями. Кроме того, новый продукт не нужно собирать и утилизировать. 
 
В настоящий момент ученые занимаются модификацией и усовершенствованием сорбента, чтобы облегчить условия его нанесения на почву. В дальнейшем разработчики планируют использовать кору деревьев и опилки при производстве сорбента. Это позволит решить проблему утилизации отходов деревообрабатывающей промышленности.
