Отношения между Китаем и Соединенными Штатами ухудшаются. Президент США Дональд Трамп не отказался от своего заявления о том, что он может ввести дополнительные тарифы на китайские товары в качестве наказания за роль Китая в распространении коронавируса.

Ранее власти КНР осудили эти меры, заявив, что они неуместны и, что США не должны запугивать другие страны. Хотя коронавирус впервые появился в Китае, страна быстро ввела строгие ограничения и сотрудничала со Всемирной Организацией Здравоохранения, чтобы ограничить распространение вируса.

Число случаев заболевания Covid-19 во всем мире превысило 3,7 миллиона, причем 1,2 млн из них приходится на Соединенные Штаты. В Европе вспышка болезни постепенно затухает, тогда как Россия в настоящее время является эпицентром пандемии, где было зарегистрировано уже более 165 000 случаев заражения коронавирусом. Ожидается, что к следующей неделе Россия догонит Великобританию, возможно, даже Испанию и Италию.

Сегодня Еврокомиссия опубликовала экономические прогнозы на 2020 и 2021 годы. Европейские экономисты ожидают снижения экономического роста на 7,7% только в этом году. Евро ослаб после публикации данного отчета.
