These measures are aimed at supporting national production by increasing import tariffs. Starting from October 1, 2025, a duty of 25% will be imposed on heavy trucks, 30% on upholstered furniture, and 50% on kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets. In addition, starting from October 1, a 100% duty will be imposed on branded and patented medicines if their manufacturers do not place production in the United States.
