A meeting of the Central Bank of Switzerland took place today, at which the regulator announced that he did not intend to change his super-soft monetary policy. Therefore, the refinancing rate remained the same: -0.75 percent. This decision coincided with the expectations of analysts. The regulator also noted that he expects deflation this year at 0.7%.

In addition, the Central Bank said that it was still ready to strengthen interventions in the foreign exchange market to curb the «highly regarded» Swiss franc.
