After the withdrawal of the Binance crypto exchange from Russia in September 2023, CommEX became its successor for Russian users. However, today the telegram channel of the site has information about its imminent closure.

From March 25, the platform will close the registration of new users and the transfer of assets from Binance, as well as stop accepting deposits in fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies.

Starting March 28, the exchange will complete the opening of positions on the futures market. Users will only be able to close previously opened positions.

On April 2, CommEX will stop publishing new ads on the p2p marketplace. Users will also lose the ability to create new orders for the purchase of cryptocurrencies.

On April 5, the exchange will automatically close all p2p orders and ads.

On April 18, all trading pairs on the futures market will be automatically closed, and CommEX will also close the spot market from April 23. Users will not be able to place orders, and all open orders will be automatically canceled by the system. The conversion function will also be disabled.

Finally, on May 10, the official website of the exchange will stop working, and users will not be able to access the content related to CommEX.

User accounts on CommEX that retain assets after May 10, 2024, will be subject to an asset management fee of 1% of the amount of assets available on the day the platform was discontinued. Assets that are not stablecoins will be converted to USDT.
