У банков появится возможность обмениваться информацией о неблагонадежных клиентах

Российские банки и некредитные финансовые организации (НФО) смогут обмениваться информацией о неблагонадежных клиентах. Об этом заявил Центральный Банк России. Проект будет запущен вместе с Росфинмониторингом. Система обмена данными начнет свою работу со следующей недели.
 
Благодаря подобным механизмам у банков и НФО появится инструмент оценки рисков отмывания незаконных  доходов и финансирования доходов. Однако в информационном письме регулятора отмечается, что отказ в обслуживании клиента в одном банке необязательно послужит основанием для отказа от обслуживания этого же клиента в другом банковском учреждении.
 
С законодательной точки зрения, систему обмена данными о неблагонадежных клиентах поддержат поправки к закону об отмывании денег, одобренные в конце 2015 года. Согласно этим поправкам банковские учреждения имеют права обмениваться информацией о «подозрительных» клиентах.
