Инвесторы продолжают следить за статистикой коронавируса, опасаясь второй волны пандемии. Общее число случаев заболевания Covid-19 сегодня превысило 9,5 миллиона. За последние сутки в США было выявлено 38 000 новых случаев, в Бразилии – 40 000, а в Индии – почти 17 000.

В странах Европы также были зарегистрированы новые заболевшие после ослабления карантинных мер, но число гораздо меньше, чем в Соединенных Штатах. Европейские страны готовятся ввести запрет на въезд для людей, прибывающих из США, России и других сильно пострадавших регионов.

Фондовый рынок США находится под давлением из-за распродаж, вызванных опасениями дальнейшего распространения коронавируса, а также последней статистикой по безработице и ВВП в первом квартале. При этом растет спрос на безопасные активы, такие как доллар США, японская иена и золото.
