ЕЦБ увеличил программу PEPP на 600 млрд евро

Сегодня Европейский Центральный банк провел очередное заседание по вопросам монетарной политики. ЕЦБ ожидаемо сохранил базовую процентную ставку на нулевом уровне, ставку по депозитам – на отрицательном уровне - 0,5%.

Представители ЕЦБ подчеркнули, что ставки останутся на текущем уровне, пока инфляция в еврозоне не приблизится к целевому показателю.

При этом чиновники европейского регулятора решили увеличить размер экстренной программы выкупа активов Pandemic Emergency Purchase Programme (PEPP) на 600 млрд евро, до 1,350 трлн евро, что превзошло прогноз аналитиков в 500 млрд евро.

ЕЦБ намерен продолжать программу выкупа активов как минимум до конца июня 2021 года, либо пока европейские экономисты не решат, что кризис, вызванный эпидемией коронавируса, преодолен.

ЕЦБ намерен осуществлять программу выкупа активов (APP) прежними темпами – в ежемесячном объеме 20 млрд евро.  План Центробанка предполагает, что 120 млрд евро будут потрачены до конца года. Согласно сообщению ЕЦБ, выкуп активов в рамках APP продолжится «столько времени, сколько потребуется для усиления стимулирующего эффекта».
