Федеральная резервная служба США провела первое заседание после инаугурации Дональда Трампа. Регулятор отметил достаточно оптимистичную картину развития экономики Соединенных Штатов и оставил базовые процентные ставки на существующем уровне, а именно 0,5-0,75% годовых. ФРС ожидает от нового президента США большей ясности в отношении дальнейшей политики. Предполагается, что повышение ставки может произойти в июне.

Центробанк США заявил, что американский рынок труда укрепляется, стабилизируется рост рабочих мест. Уровень безработицы в 4,7% остается практически без изменений, возле своих минимальных показателей. Инфляция возросла, но остается ниже 2%. Общие потребительские  и деловые показатели значительно улучшились с момента последнего увеличения базовой ставки 14 декабря 2016 года. 

Следующее заседание ФРС США планируется провести 14-15 марта. Всего в 2017 году состоится еще 7 заседаний.
