(Reuters) – Akcie společnosti UnitedHealth Group (NYSE:UNH) ve čtvrtek propadly o 18 %, protože investoři se zbavovali akcií poté, co Wall Street Journal informoval, že americké ministerstvo spravedlnosti vede trestní vyšetřování společnosti kvůli možnému podvodu v souvislosti s programem Medicare.

Zpráva o vyšetřování se přidává k sérii nedávných neúspěchů zdravotnického konglomerátu, který od listopadu, kdy se akcie obchodovaly na rekordních maximech, ztratil více než polovinu své tržní hodnoty, tedy přes 300 miliard dolarů.
