As a result, the market's attention shifted from opening economies, strong monetary support measures and strong corporate profits to talk of phasing out stimulus measures, political uncertainty, slowing economic growth and geopolitical tensions around the world. And the latest figures for retail sales and industrial production in China also fall short of forecasts.
