Советник президента США заявил об экономической войне с Китаем

Главный советник президента США по стратегическим вопросам Стив Бэннон в своем интервью печатному изданию The American Prospect заявил, что Соединенные Штаты находятся в состоянии экономической войны с Китаем. При этом Бэннон не пытался скрыть свой агрессивный настрой, обещая «маниакально сражаться против Пекина».   

Бэннон утверждает, что напряженная ситуация вокруг США и Северной Кореи – это лишь отвлекающий маневр Поднебесной, и на самом деле угроза военного разрешения конфликта минимальна. Помимо этого, стратег опасается, что по истечении 5-10 лет экономическая война с Китаем может выйти из-под контроля, если США не будет предпринимать решительных действий. 

Напомним, ранее президент США начал формальное расследование торговой политики КНР, утверждая, что она нарушает интеллектуальные права и способствует утечке технологий компаний США. Решение проблемы администрация Трампа видит в введении экономических санкций по отношению к странам, нарушающим международные торговые договоры, основываясь на разделе 301 закона о торговле 1974 года. 

Китай в свою очередь заявил о стойком намерении защищать свои интересы. Хотя запущенное Трампом расследование не сможет привести к немедленным санкционным мерам против Китая, но могут быть увеличены тарифы на экспорт товаров из КНР.
