Коронавирус продолжает оставаться главной проблемой для финансовых рынков. Озабоченность особенно высока в Соединенных Штатах, которые являются страной с наибольшим количеством случаев заболевания в мире.

За последние несколько дней в США было зарегистрировано около 50000 новых случаев заражения Covid-19. При этом американцы пытаются вернуться к нормальной жизни, однако при текущих темпах распространения заболевания, может потребоваться новый карантин.

Коронавирус также продолжает быстро распространяться в других странах. Только вчера в Бразилии было зарегистрировано 40 000 новых случаев заболевания, в Индии – почти 16 000, а в России – 7400 новых случаев.

Рынки негативно реагируют на сообщения о продолжающейся пандемии Covid-19. Среди инвесторов наблюдается, что повышенный интерес к активам-убежищам: доллар США восстановил утраченные ранее позиции, а золото приближается к уровню $1800, который является восьмилетним максимумом для драгоценного металла.
