Вчерашний отчет о первичных заявках на получение пособий по безработице в США показал снижение показателя за месяц с 5.237 тыс. до 4.427 тыс. По всей видимости, американский рынок труда уже достиг дна и больше не будет подвергаться тяжелым ударам.
 
Палата Представителей США одобрила законопроект Сената О стимулировании экономики, который позволит высвободить почти $500 млрд, чтобы помочь бизнесу пережить пандемию. Кроме того, правительство США сейчас готовится рассмотреть план предоставления финансовой помощи нефтяным компаниям. На этой неделе американская нефть сильно пострадала, так как майские фьючерсы рухнули ниже нуля из-за того, что в стране не хватало места для хранения нефти.

Страны еврозоны все еще не могут найти компромисс и принять решение о плане выхода из финансового кризиса, к которому приведет пандемия. Как уже говорилось ранее, страны, наиболее пострадавшие от вспышки Covid-19, хотят более агрессивных мер, но Германия, Австрия и Нидерланды настаивают на более безопасном и консервативном подходе.

Из-за отсутствия четкого плана спасения еврозоны от кризиса евро ослаб по отношению к другим валютам.
