Сегодня состоится последнее в 2019 году заседание Федеральной резервной системы США. Инвесторы не ждут изменений и надеются получить подсказки о планах регулятора на 2020 год.

В 2019 году политика ФРС стала более адаптивной, корректируя курс в соответствии с поступающими экономическими данными. Около десяти лет американский центробанк постепенно повышал процентные ставки на фоне сильного экономического роста в стране. В этого году ФРС трижды снижала процентные ставки, что стало ответом на замедление экономики из-за затяжного торгового конфликта с Китаем.

Ожидается, что на сегодняшнем заседании ФРС не внесет изменений в текущий курс монетарной политики. Предыдущее снижение ставок было превентивной мерой, поэтому большинство экспертов полагают, что в экономике осталось пространство для роста.

Инвесторы рассчитывают, что ФРС будет осторожной, однако окончательное решение зависит от фундаментальных показателей следующего года. Кроме того, в ноябре 2020 года в США пройдут президентские выборы, поэтому во втором полугодии политика может начать доминировать над экономикой и вынудит экономистов американского центробанка занять выжидательную позицию.
