Фондовый рынок США завершил торги в среду ростом, при этом индекс S&P 500 достиг нового исторического максимума.

Инвесторы анализировали корпоративные отчеты и новости, ожидая публикации квартальных результатов Nvidia Corp., которые должны прояснить перспективы технологического сектора, особенно в области искусственного интеллекта, а также помочь оценить оправданность высоких котировок акций IT-компаний.

Среди лидеров роста в составе S&P 500 выделились бумаги производителя лития Albemarle Corp., подорожавшие на 7,5%. В индексе Dow Jones Industrial Average лучшие результаты показали акции Salesforce Inc., прибавившие 2,6%.

По итогам торгов индекс Dow Jones вырос на 0,32%, до 45 565,23 пункта. S&P 500 прибавил 0,24% и достиг 6 481,4 пункта. Nasdaq Composite увеличился на 0,21%, до 21 590,14 пункта.
