В июле мировое производство сырой стали сократилось на 1,3% в годовом выражении и составило 150,1 млн тонн, следует из данных Всемирной ассоциации стали.

Крупнейший производитель и потребитель металла – Китай – показал более резкое снижение: выпуск стали упал на 4%, до 79,7 млн тонн.

Сокращение в Китае, на долю которого приходится более половины мирового производства, стало ключевым фактором снижения глобальных показателей и отражает продолжающуюся корректировку в сталелитейной отрасли.
