Нефтяная добыча в Норвегии в июле выросла на 17% по сравнению с июнем и достигла 1,96 млн баррелей в сутки – это самый высокий уровень с 2011 года, согласно данным Норвежского нефтяного директората.

Рост обеспечило наращивание производства на новом месторождении Johan Castberg в Баренцевом море, разработку которого ведет Equinor ASA. Вместе с крупнейшим месторождением Johan Sverdrup они обеспечивают около 1 млн баррелей в сутки.

Норвежские компании активно инвестируют миллиарды долларов в поддержание добычи на зрелом континентальном шельфе. По оценке консалтинговой компании FGE NexantECA, июльские поставки нефти из страны стали максимальными с 2012 года, хотя общий экспорт все же ниже уровней начала 2000-х.
